Lab automation is becoming increasingly prevalent in the laboratories of your customers:

  • It reduces manual work and saves staff time for more engaging work
  • It increases efficiency in the lab (e.g., increased sample volume)
  • It removes human error and enables more reproducible, consistent results
  • It improves lab safety by reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries
  • It improves data access and exchange
  • It saves precious laboratory space

Erlab Instrument & Automation Filtering Enclosures (Erlab IE) combine customized enclosures adapted to the size of the instruments and robots and the excellence of the filtration system which equip the range of stan dard Captair Smart filtering enclosures, offering a total flexibility and total safety of the lab operators.

Remember this!

Canopy hoods and suction arms which are often used to trap the chemicals emitted by Instruments and robots have no enclosure and can’t contain properly the emitted gaseous chemicals, thus allowing a large number of chemical gases to escape into the lab.

Ducted fume hoods can contain, but they are fixed and can’t be installed where the automated lab equipment shall be located, which is critical!

Erlab Instrument Enclosures (IE) are designed for automated experiments which do not require frequent manual intervention.(Automated lab equipment doesn’t release large quantities of chemicals but during a long period of time, offering a long filter lifetime and large saving of air-conditioned energy consumed by ducted systems.)

Erlab Instrument Enclosures (IE) are flexible and can be installed where the instruments and robots shall be
located. They just need an electrical socket nearby to be operated.
